3rd ESO - competitions

We have already learned HOW TO CREATE our COMPETITION

We have two main posibilities:

• Elimination(single and double)

Two teams/players play and the winner continues on the ladder 

• League

All the teams/players play against each one. 

During a league, you have to take on consideration:

- number of teams/players (i recommned pair number, so nobody waits)

- number of rounds (if there are 6 teams there will be 5 rounds)

- calendary of rounds

- clasification/ranking table

In groups of 2-4 partners, you have to prepare a competition for the rest of the class (if you want, you can also be part of the competition)

ADVISES:

• choose one type of competition (each one has its advantages and disadvantages
• choose the sport (you can invest one or modify the rules as you want)
• remember that you have to finish the competition in 40 minutos aprox.
• take on consideration the number of courts that you need. For instance: if you are going to prepare handball competition, we only have one handball court, so two teams would be playing and the rest would be waiting.
